Jess is very special to us being our first baby,
so we decided to do something special for her... what better way
than to make her room more interesting for her! ( and
guess what, its just as special for
ZACK!) |

Jessica's Room is a true work of art thanks to
Dana
Fleming
Dana is an Interior Artist who specializes in Murals, Faux Finishes,
and Trompe O'leil. She sure made our room very special, and are
ecstatic with the outcome of her work!

The artwork was based on a Carters®
design called Real
Love. This is a design that is copyrighted by Yoko Ono Lennon,
ans is sometimes referred to as the John Lennon Collection.
"John Lennon was one of the most imaginative thinkers of our time. Even
before he was a Beatle, he was a poet, musician and artist. And
he was a loving hands-on father to his son. As a natural expression
of his love for his child, Lennon created delightful animal figures
and drawings to teach, amuse and entertain him. "

newborn to age 6 and will be in stores in June, 1999. "
Ok... I'll describe the room best I can, The pictures
were taken from various places within the room, but I'll describe
where they are from the doorway.
Entering the room, straight ahead is a window to
our backyard.
To the Left of that is the Giraffe, with the Sun
on the left wall close by.

Also on the left wall, towards the front of the room,
a Rhino is on the bottom looking at the Palm Tree that is painted
in the corner.
The Palm Tree is on both the front and left walls,
and is the height of the room itself - pretty big I'd say. We think
Dana did a great job in capturing the design.

Of course we have a singing bird on a branch coming
off the top of the closet door which is on the right wall...
|
... and flowers at the bottom...
Notice the Border going around the top of the room!

just right of the doorway...
